The Langham Venice

On Thursday May 18 Bob van den Oord /The Langham, Matteo Thun and Elisa Vago/Matteo Thun & Partners presented the The Langham Venice to an exclusive audience on site. The Langham Venice in Rio dei Vetrai on the island of Murano will be housed in a mix of new build and restored buildings on an outstanding heritage site, including a former glass making factory and the 16th Century Casino Mocenigo with its original frescos.

In their interior design project for the Seadeck Series of Azimut, Matteo Thun e Antonio Rodriguez draw on the conscious philosophy that is the distinctive feature of their approach to architecture. The encounter with Azimut is born from the sharing of values: the desire to work in subtraction to let the heart of the environment emerge, the one in which to feel good, redefining the concept of luxury in terms of wellness, the careful choice of natural and sustainable materials.

Proud to announce that the RITO lounge chair by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez for Désirée has been given the German Design Awards 2023.

Matteo Thun names four New Partners within the Design Practice

Boris Ulrich, Karola Gröger, Elisa Vago and Matteo Beretta have become Partners of the architectural and design studio founded by Matteo Thun in 1983, also present in Munich since 2020.

These nominations mark a key step in the evolution of the practice, one that will encourage growth while maintaining its distinctive culture.
